DAY & TIME
Thursdays | 7:00pm – 8.30pm
Each class is part of a series of classes about a particular theme but individual classes are self contained and you’re welcome to join anytime
Explore your mind! Follow your bliss! Awaken your potential!
“If you realize your own mind, you will become a Buddha. You don’t need to seek Buddhahood elsewhere.”
Buddha Shakyamuni
Buddha taught powerful and blissful meditations to lead us on the path to realizing our full potential. These meditations are called Mahamudra meditations and are profound methods for increasing our ability to concentrate, improving our wisdom and awakening our heart. Gen Thekchen will explain these powerful meditations in a practical way based on the extraordinary book, Oral Instructions of the Mahamudra. This is a rare series of classes that are suitable not only for experienced meditators but for those who wish to explore the incredible power and potential of the human mind.
May 19 – A Profound Meditation for Peace and Developing Concentration
May 26 – Meditating on the True Nature of our Self
June 2 – Bringing wisdom into our daily life
June 9 – Advice for a Happy Mind
We will then take a two week break for the International Spring Festival in Malaga
Overcoming anger in 4 easy steps
In situations of conflict, we tend to become angry easily. We even think anger will help us ‘win’ our battles, and we rely on it as if it were our trusted friend. The mind of anger, however, leaves a trail of broken relationships, lost opportunities, and painful feelings in its wake. These classes offer skillful techniques to remain balanced, flexible and peaceful in the midst of difficult situations and conflicts, thereby overcoming our real enemy, the painful mind of anger itself.
June 30 – Understanding how anger arises and how it harms us
July 7 – Preventing anger through love and patience
July 14 – Bringing wisdom into the difficult situation
July 21 – Destroying anger using compassion and wisdom

These classes are offered both in person and live streamed.
