Meditate in our beautiful meditation rooms

Meditation Rooms

DSC_0250We have two beautiful meditation rooms: the Red Meditation Room and the Protector Meditation Room.

The Red Meditation Room is to the south of the building. This room was a chapel when the building was a convent and we have retained some of the stained glass that was installed by the nuns. This room is used for weekly prayers as well as our meditation retreats.

PB280017The Protector Meditation Room is to the north of the building. It was completely renovated recently with a large shrine cabinet holding statues, including an 8-foot Buddha. These statues were all painted by volunteer statue painters on site at the Bodhisattva KMC. This room is mainly used for our weekday meditation classes, lunchtime meditations, and large weekend events. It is open for the public to use during our World Peace Cafe opening hours.

Bodhisattva Kadampa Meditation Centre is a member of the International Kadampa Buddhist Union (IKBU) and is a Registerd Charity No. 1016354.
