Bodhisattva KMC (Venue Map & Information)3 Lansdowne Road, Brighton, East Sussex, BN3 1DN
You are welcome to join us in our monthly long Protector Prayers, Melodious Drum. In this practice we make prayers (requests to Buddhas) to remove negativity from our mind and gain positive energy and good fortune, helping us along our spiritual path.
As this practice is roughly three hours long, there is a short break close to the middle.
During the prayers we make offerings of food to our Spiritual Guide and all the holy beings (the Tsog). The purpose of making offerings is to improve our mind of giving. These food offerings are set out very beautifully on a table in front of the shrine before the prayers start, and during the prayers we offer these to Buddha, our Spiritual Guide, and the Tsog. After the prayers are over, everyone is welcome to stay and eat some of these offerings together.
You are welcome to bring your own offerings – of food that is ready to eat, or drinks.
Please arrive in advance of the advertised start time so that you are settled in the Meditation Room before the prayers start.Class/Course Fee: Free
