    • Surfing Life’s Waves

At certain times in our life it can feel like we are being tossed about by constant waves of difficult circumstances. Relationship, financial, health and societal problems come to us one after the other despite our best efforts to avoid them. Life sometimes seems to be controlling how we feel and we can be at the mercy of whatever wave comes next.

Without choice, things around us are constantly changing. Sometimes things change so fast or so much that it can feel overwhelming. Sometimes things change in a chaotic or unpredictable way, leaving us with a feeling that we are not in control of anything. In this special half-day course, we will explore how we can use the practice of meditation to better manage our emotions in times of uncertainty. In this way we can become more flexible and resilient with change, and be able to maintain a sense of peace and purpose in this uncertain world.
