Vajrasattva empowerment with Kadam Bridget Heyes

United Kingdom Dharma Celebration 2024

Vajrasattva empowerment with Kadam Bridget Heyes

Date: Friday 20th – Monday 23rd September 2024

Venue: Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre, Thornby Hall

A special weekend where we come together from all over the UK to receive blessings, advice, and inspiration. At this year’s UK Dharma Celebration, Kadam Bridget will grant the empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva, who has great power to purify our negative karma. Through this practice, we can let go of the burden of our past negativity and give ourselves a clean slate to build a better future.

Teachers

Kadam Bridget Heyes is a senior disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso who has been practising for over 30 years. She is the Resident Teacher at Nagarjuna KMC and the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director of the UK.

Gen Dornying, the Resident Teacher at KMC Leeds, will give an introduction on Friday night.

Gen Kelsang Dornying has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism for more than 20 years, and has taught all over the world. He is an inspiring and light-hearted teacher of modern Buddhism who makes Buddha’s teachings clear, accessible and applicable to everyone’s daily life.

Gen Tilopa, the Resident Teacher at KMC Liverpool, will guide the meditations.

Gen Tilopa has been a Resident Teacher for almost 25 years giving teachings in Scotland and in the United States.

Born and educated in Scotland, Gen Tilopa brings to the teachings of pure Kadam Dharma his varied life experiences to help and guide his students, and to show how pure Dharma teachings and practice can improve the quality of our daily lives at work, at home, and in our everyday relationships.
