How big is your mind? The size of your head? A two-foot square? A small house? A city? In fact, the answer is none of these! Our mind is boundless – beginningless, endless and as vast as space. The scope of our awareness has no limits whatsoever, but we rarely – if ever -relate to it in this way. And what a shame that is!
On this day course with Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Jigme, we’re going to dive into a liberating meditation known as “Clarity of Mind,” in which we come to experience the vastness and utter flexibility of our own mind. We’re not stuck in a small box at all: we all have the capacity to demolish this sense of limitation. The result? A level of freedom and well-being that, most likely, we’ve never before experienced.
This one-day retreat is suitable for everyone, whatever your personal beliefs and experience of meditation, and everybody is welcome.

Gen Kelsang Jigme
Gen Kelsang Jigme is the Resident Teacher at Bodhisattva Kadampa Meditation Centre. Ordained as a Buddhist monk in 1997 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, Gen Jigme has studied, practised, and taught Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance in major Kadampa Centres throughout the UK for many years. Gen Jigme shows a humble, kind example as a practitioner and his clear explanations of Buddha’s teachings give us the confidence to practise them in daily life.
