STEPS ON THE PATH TO HAPPINESS | 7 Day Retreat 10th – 17th January 2025

Steps on the Path to Happiness

A one-week, guided meditation retreat on the Lamrim, the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment.

We all aspire towards lasting happiness and a meaningful life. This special, guided retreat will introduce profound meditations that we can use to generate peace and happiness from within, and which function to make our human life meaningful as we work towards realising our true potential.

Based on the book ‘How to Understand the Mind’, by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment, known as Lamrim in Tibetan, are a series of powerful, contemplative meditations that work to reveal hidden spiritual truths, awakening our love and compassion, and increasing our understanding of key Buddhist concepts such as the preciousness of human life, karma and the true source of  – and solution to – the problems we all face in our daily lives.

On this retreat, Gen Kelsang Jigme will skillfully guide us through this profound series of meditations, harnessing Buddha’s ancient wisdom for practical application in our modern lives.

Suggested reading to support your practice during this retreat is Part One of Modern Buddhism  by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, available to buy in our shop or to download for free from https://tharpa.com/uk/modern-buddhism-free-ebook

Everybody is welcome!
