MINI COURSE: Self Care, Self Respect, Self Confidence, Self Love, A Buddhist Perspective

  • DATE & TIME

    Saturday October 17 | 10am – 1.30pm

  • Course Info

Includes a Q&A with 3 Senior Kadampa Buddhist Practitioners.

Self-criticism and self-loathing make us miserable and directly undermine our ability to grow into the person we wish to be.

Superficial affirmations are not enough to let go of these ingrained habits. They will continue to shape our life and obscure our true nature until we address them directly.

In this course, Gen Thekchen will guide meditations enabling us to experience the extraordinary potential for happiness and emotional freedom that is the actual nature of our mind. From this perspective we can learn a radical form of self-acceptance and love, the basis for real spiritual growth.

The first session will be taught by our resident teacher, Gen Kelsang Thekchen.

The second session will be a panel that includes Steve Cansdale, Susan Tait & Kelsang Drolkar . This is an opportunity to ask questions to practitioners who have been applying these teachings in their relationships for many years.

An event not to be missed!
