Lead by the world-renowned Kadampa Buddhist teacher Kadam Bridget Heyes, UK National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, this blessed weekend of teachings and meditations is open to all.

Kadam Bridget will grant the empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni, a beautiful, traditional blessing ceremony to awaken your spiritual potential and explain Buddha’s profound Four Noble Truths. These teachings reveal the true source of happiness and suffering and the path that leads to lasting inner and outer peace. No experience is needed and everybody is welcome.

About the Teacher

Kadam Bridget Heyes

Kadam Bridget Heyes is the UK National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition and the Resident Teacher at Nagarjuna KMC in Northants. She is a senior disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and a world-renowned and well-loved Kadampa Buddhist teacher and is known for her powerful teachings, compassionate heart, and deep understanding of Buddha’s wisdom advice. Her teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that are easy to practice and integrate into daily life. Kadam Bridget shows an inspiring example for everyone on the spiritual path.

About the Venue

Bodhisattva Kadampa Buddhist Meditation Centre, based in Brighton, East Sussex, is a special place of tranquility, rest and reflection. The centre is located a few minutes walk from the beach within two acres of quiet, leafy grounds and is a haven of peace for the people of Brighton and Hove.

All teachings at the Southern Dharma Festival will be held in a marquee on the centre grounds.

As this is a regional NKT event this event is not included with BKMC memberships.
