Course info

Health, Happiness and the Power of Your Mind – Online Public Talk with Gen Kelsang Thekchen

Thursday 31 Dec | 8.30pm – 10.00pm | Free

Everyone welcome!

Want a mid-Winter boost to your spirits?!
Join Gen Thekchen to hear inspiring wisdom from the ancient teachings of Buddha explained simply and clearly for our modern age.

Although we all wish to be happy all the time until now we find this impossible to achieve. Why is this? It is because we need to deeply understand the connections between the state of our physical and mental health and the incredible power of our own mind. With this knowledge we can transform our experience and find the life that we long for.

TEACHER

Our Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Thekchen, is a senior meditation teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition.

Gen Thekchen has been practising and teaching Buddhist meditation for over 25 years under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. He is well known for his ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a simple, practical and often humorous way, making them easy to put into practice in everyday life.
