How to Enjoy a Happy and Meaningful life

Guided retreat based on the book “Mirror of Dharma” with Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Thekchen

We all want to live a life with meaning and we all wish for lasting happiness and peace.  This special guided retreat will introduce profound meditations that create peace and happiness from within and make our human life extremely meaningful.

The “Stages of the Path to Enlightenment”, or “Lamrim”, are a powerful series of contemplative meditations revealing hidden spiritual truths that awaken our love, compassion and understanding.  This retreat will offer a wonderful opportunity to get an overall understanding of how to find real meaning and happiness.  Meditation topics include contemplating how precious and rare our human life is, understanding impermanence, karma and where our problems come from.  We will also look at a series of meditations that open our heart of universal love and compassion.

On this retreat, Gen Thekchen will explain and guide us on these meditations.

Each session will include a short teaching, some preparatory prayers and a guided meditation.

The retreat is suitable for all levels from complete beginners to experienced meditators.

A perfect way to start the new year!

This retreat can be attended for individual days.

It is an opportunity to deepen our experience of the Buddhist path to Enlightenment. Everyone is welcome to attend our retreat; Even if you can only make a day.
