    Generosity & Abundance

    June 12 | 10am -1pm

Giving is primarily a mental action – a virtuous determination to give. Buddha taught that from giving comes wealth and that giving is the best insurance against future poverty.  We can give material things, our love, protection, our time and good advice.  If we understand the law of karma, we can clearly see that developing our attitude to serve and give to others is the real inner cause of wealth and abundance.

In this half day course, Gen Thekchen will explain how to invest wisely in our future happiness and the happiness of others through the practice of giving.  Then Bertie Wilkins, a student of the Centre and local businessman will offer practical examples of how we can make our daily life meaningful and help others through our generosity.
