  • 4 Hidden Truths - The 4 Seals with Gen Chodor

Buddha Shakyamuni taught four main truths (the four seals) that require deep wisdom to understand and realize:

    1. All functioning things are impermanent, changing moment by moment.
    2. Everything in this impure world is created out of confusion and therefore conducive to suffering.
    3. All phenomena are empty of inherent or independent existence.
    4. Only permanent freedom from delusions (Nirvana) is real peace.

We are going to explore these four hidden truths over the course of 2 special half day courses.

In this first half day course, on November 6, Gen Thekchen explained the first 2 seals in a practical way and guided us on profound meditations to gain experience of these hidden truths.

On this half day course, Gen Chodor, the Resident Teacher of London Kadampa Meditation Centre will teach on the remaining two seals, emphasizing Buddha’s teaching on ultimate truth, emptiness and how to use this wisdom to solve our daily problems.  Not an event to be missed!

    We will learn:

    1. The peaceful nature of our own mind
    2. The practice of meditation and the path to true happiness
    3. Realizing the liberating wisdom of ultimate truth, emptiness.

Join us for this profound day of wisdom!
