Lamrim retreat: A Guide to Unleashing our Potential for Enlightenment

Lamrim which means “stages of the path to Enligtenment”, is a powerful series of contemplative meditations that reveal hidden spiritual truths that deepen our love, compassion and understanding or wisdom.  This retreat will offer a wonderful opportunity to get an overall understanding of all the stages of the path to enlightenment, from encouraging us to practise Dharma now by meditating on our precious human Life and the uncertainty of the time of our death, to an understanding of karma, to a wish to be permanently free from all suffering, to the series of meditations that help us develop universal love and compassion and finally to an understanding of the dream-like nature of reality, ultimate truth, emptiness.

On this retreat, Gen Thekchen will explain and guide us on these meditations.  Each session will include a short teaching, some preparatory prayers and a guided meditation.

The retreat is suitable for all levels from complete beginners to experienced meditators.

A perfect way to start the fall term!

This retreat can be attended for individual days.

It is an opportunity to deepen our experience of the Buddhist path to Enlightenment. Everyone is welcome to attend our retreat; Even if you can only make a day.

Please note that the retreat will be silent in the morning to enhance a deeper experience of the meditations.
