Meditations for healing ourselves & others

Meditation is the medicine for the mind. On this course we will explore various aspects of Buddhist teachings and meditations that heal both our body & mind and help restore harmony and balance into all areas of our life.  The problems of everyday life often bring inner pain and restlessness. Experience the healing power of meditation to overcome painful states of mind and enjoy a happy and meaningful life. We shall be looking at simple yet profound meditations that will help transform the mind.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn the various kinds of meditations that Buddha taught to help us heal our mind and body. Through meditations such as:
taking and giving,
connecting with Medicine Buddha,
visualizing healing light energy, and
developing compassion and patience,
we can reduce our suffering and pain and indeed use it to deepen our wisdom and compassion.

Teacher

This event is taught by Gen Kelsang Thekchen, senior Buddhist Monk and Resident Teacher of Bodhisattva KMC.

Friday:

Saturday:
9.30am – 10.30am: Meditation session
11.30am – 12.30pm: Meditation session
4pm –  5pm: Meditation session
7.30pm – 8.30pm: Q&A

Sunday:
9.30am – 10.30am: Meditation session
11.30am – 12.30pm: Meditation session
