Learn To Meditate Weekend Retreat
Suitable for beginners, our relaxing learn to meditate weekend courses give an inspiring introduction to the practice of meditation. Through gentle guidance you will learn simple techniques to create space in the mind, find inner peace, and keep a good heart in daily life.
Topics covered include what is meditation, the benefits of meditation, tips for success in meditation, and how to start a daily meditation practice. The course will consist of practical instructions, peaceful meditations, and advice on how to use meditation in everyday situations so that we can maintain a positive mind during the day.
The retreat schedule
The retreat will begin Friday 8th July in the evening at 7.30 pm with an introduction and conclude on Sunday 10th July at 2.00pm (after lunch).
The retreat session times will be as follows:
Friday:
7.30 – 8.30 pm : Introduction
Saturday:
9.30 – 10.30 am : Meditation session
11.30 am – 12.30 pm : Meditation session
(Lunch 12.30 pm – 2.00 pm)
4.00 – 5.00 pm : Meditation session
7.30 – 8.30 pm : Q&A
Sunday:
9.30 am – 10.30 am : Meditation session
11.30 am – 12.30 pm : Meditation session
(Lunch 12.30 pm – 2.00 pm)
