Introduction to the day course
Each of us has within our mind a special precious potential for boundless love, compassion & wisdom. By receiving the empowerment of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of compassion, we can learn to connect with this potential and bring it to fruition in our lives. By improving our good heart we can solve many of our daily problems and help others to do the same.
Bodhisattva Kadampa Meditation Centre in Brighton is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Please join us in one of our many celebrations this year to commenorate 20 years of offering a place of refuge and spiritual wisdom to all, by attending this special course with Resident Teacher, Gen Chodor.
At Bodhisattva Centre we provide a perfect environment for you to have a restful yet meaningful break. Known to some people as a “home from home” the Centre offers two acres of beautiful gardens, a World Peace Café, comfortable accommodation, two inspiring meditation rooms, and spiritual friendship with like-minded people - everything you need to develop inner peace.
Fees
The fee for the course is £30 per person (includes a delicious vegetarian lunch).
The day course schedule
9:00-10:00am - Meditation
11:00-1:00pm - Empowerment
3:00-4:30pm - Commentary
7:30-8:45pm - Chanted Prayers - Wishfulfilling Jewel
