Introduction to the weekend course
On this weekend course we will be looking at powerful meditation practices that heal our body and mind. According to Buddha all diseases, both mental and physical, are caused by the inner poison of our delusions and through relying upon Medicine Buddha, the embodiment of enlightenend healing energy, we can be cured of our anger, attachment, and ignorance and find perfect health and happiness.
On Saturday Kelsang Chodor will also be granting the blessing empowerment of Medicine Buddha. This empowerment is open to everyone and is a beautiful ceremony with guided meditation that enables us to create a strong connection with Medicine Buddha and learn powerful practices that heal ourselves and others.
At Bodhisattva Centre we provide a perfect environment for you to have a restful yet meaningful break. Known to some people as a “home from home” the Centre offers two acres of beautiful gardens, a World Peace Café, comfortable accommodation, two inspiring meditation rooms, and spiritual friendship with like-minded people - everything you need to develop inner peace.
We have free on-site parking but, due to the popularity of our courses and limited parking spaces, we ask people wherever possible to use public transport. (Brighton has excellent public transport links).
The weekend will begin Friday evening at 7.30 pm with an introductory class and concludes on Sunday at 1.00pm with lunch.
Weekend fees
Non residential : £50
Dormitory (male or female) : £80
Twin room (for two people) : £220
Single room : £130
The fees include accommodation (where applicable), course fees, and all meals.
