Information about this event:
Join 100’s of people for a free guided meditation! Bodhisattva Kadampa Meditation Centre will once again be offering a free guided meditation session on Brighton Beach. The meeting point will be in front of the West Pier (opposite the i360) where the actual meditation will take place on the beach. To help you identify the meeting point there will be a flag displaying a meditators logo (see image). We aim to begin the meditation at 11.00 am so please arrive in good time.
Everyone is welcome to attend this free session but, in order to help us prepare for the event, we ask you to register first, using the booking link above
The guided meditation will lead you on a voyage of exploration of your mind through which you can discover your own inner potential for lasting peace and happiness.
Please bring a cushion or blanket with you if it helps you to sit comfortably.
The event is hosted by Bodhisattva KMC. Our Centre is located in Brighton within two acres of quiet leafy grounds and is a haven of peace in the city. It is open to the public and offers a variety of Buddhist meditation classes, day courses, and weekend meditation retreats that are suitable for beginners and more experienced meditators.
We will also be giving out free meditation class vouchers for those people who have never been to Bodhisattva KMC before and would like to attend one of our meditation classes at the Centre.
Gen Kelsang Thekchen is the resident teacher of Bodhisattva Kadampa Meditation Centre. He has been a monk for 20 years and has been the Resident Teacher of many Centres in both Canada and the UK.
